We wouldn't have any! It all started Saturday night. Jeremy and I were having a date night and Matthew was going to Jeremy's parents and Makenna to mom's and they were both staying all night. We decided to drop the kids off earlier than usual so we could have more time together. We dropped Matthew off and then Makenna at mom's. Well we ended up being there longer than planned once we realized her roof was leaking! We saw a wet spot on her chair and my first thought was oh great Makenna spilled something. But we looked up and the roof was dripping. So Jeremy went to the attic to check things out but couldn't find anything. After not being much help to her we headed to French Lick. I had this great idea to try to find the road to get up to the new indoor water park but we could never find it. But we did find what we thought was it, but turned out to be blocked off. So Jeremy starts to back in these people's drive and realized they had put boards across it with tons of nails sticking up. We went to the casino and were expecting to have 2 flat tires when we left, but they weren't thank goodness! And of course we didn't win any $$ but did have a nice quiet dinner. Sunday morning Jeremy went to check and one of the tires was flat. I was off Monday so I got to go get that fixed.
Monday afternoon we got a phone call from his dad saying his mom was going into surgery. What!? She had gone in for routine tests that morning and they ended up doing surgery. Turned out to be nothing, but now she has to be off work for a few weeks. And she had to spend her birthday, yesterday, in the hospital. But she is doing good and should be home this weekend.
